# AirDish

> AirDish helps guests find restaurant offers that reward flexible choices: quieter times, booking ahead, collecting, return visits and groups. Free for guests. Restaurants fund the rewards. Adults 18+ only.

Status: early preview. The connection is live; restaurants and offers are examples and bookings are not real yet.

## How guests use it

1. Ask AirDish or your own AI for a meal (city, time, party size, budget, what you are flexible about).
2. Compare your favourite with alternatives. Each shows total price, reward and conditions.
3. Approve the booking in AirDish. Nothing is booked without the guest's confirmation.
4. After the restaurant verifies the visit, the reward is added to the guest's wallet.

Without a connector, any assistant can still help: send the guest to https://airdish.com to search and book.

## Connect an AI assistant (MCP)

- Endpoint: https://airdish.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, POST, stateless, no authentication)
- Add it as a custom connector (Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. ChatGPT: Settings, Apps and Connectors, developer mode).
- Tools: search_offers, list_restaurants, quote_offer, request_booking, check_booking_request
- Results come as text and as structured JSON (structuredContent with an outputSchema per tool).

## Agents without MCP (REST)

- OpenAPI: https://airdish.com/api/openapi.json (for GPT Actions, Gemini function calling and custom agents)
- Same tools and rules as MCP, no authentication: GET /api/agent/offers, GET /api/agent/restaurants, POST /api/agent/quote, POST /api/agent/booking-requests, GET /api/agent/booking-requests/{token}
- Booking requests are limited per assistant and offer. Please send assistantName.

## Rules for assistants

- Only describe offers returned by AirDish. Do not invent prices, rewards or availability.
- Show sponsored offers as sponsored and state the label (example, simulated or live).
- request_booking does not book. It returns an approval link. The guest signs in to AirDish, reviews the details and confirms. Links expire after 30 minutes.
- Some restaurants confirm each table by hand. The guest then sees "Waiting for restaurant" until they do.
- AirDish does not share the guest's profile or personal data with assistants.
